This tour was a big disappointment! Advertised as ā boos and brewsā, however we were only able to order a beer at the first stop, our meeting place. The next 2 ā brewā stops we were instructed to ā hurry up and go in and get a shot if we wanted toā. The second place did not have an area for us, the guide said we could take a quick walk through to see the building and come back out. It was very loud on the street and difficult to hear. One stop was a Cuban dance club with a cover charge and heavy security to get in. Again told we could go in and get a quick shot and come back out. Tour guide Holly said we didnā t have to pay the cover as long as we were ā good to herā which we all figured out meant a big tip.
The last ā brew ā stop was a piano bar that was very busy and again required a cover. No one in our tour went in. Again Holly said we had to ā take care of her with ā dead presidentsā!ā She also made sure to share her Venmo.
The entire tour was unorganized, had us in dark parking lots and did not feel safe.
The narration or lack of was confusing and hard to follow. We are not prudes by any means, but the multiple f* words along with other language not appreciated by our group. A comment was made to our group early on that our guide was in a bad mood because her previous group did not tip.
Tacky, unprofessional, unorganized, cheaply run with confusing story telling. I usually will never leave a bad review, however this tour was sub par in every way.
Tour participants should not be made to feel uncomfortable about tips and she also pressed for good reviews.
