Pritchard Park

This is where troops rallied before the "Battle of Asheville" in the Civil War. Southern ghosts still violently shove some people to the ground, and spectral drums are heard beating in the night.

The guide was terrific. Very good story teller and helped you feel like you were in the moment that these stories took place. You probably walk maybe a mile or mile and a half during the tour but each stop is about 15 to 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend you book a spot if you are in the area!

My wife loves these tours and wanted to go on this one. It was a little hilly to walk at times, but it was well worth our time. Our guide, Brian, was knowledgeable and entertaining. Learned about the history of Asheville, natural and supernatural. Even saw a stray cat walking along the edge of a garage in the dark. Great tour.
