What To Expect
1
Pack Square
An Asheville mayor killed himself in the Jackson building. How may people have jumped from the top? And why is there a bulls-eye on the sidewalk below? Learn about the ghoul of the old jail, Thomas Wolfe's ghost, Helen's Bridge, and more!
2
Grove Arcade
Hear the controversial story of the murder of Helen Clevenger in the Battery Park Hotel, and why a blood-red haze is said to appear around her murder-room window on the anniversary of the tragedy.
3
Basilica of Saint Lawrence
This building's architect is entombed in the wall of this church, and his apparition is seen roaming in the night, gazing, in awe, at the world-class dome he constructed with a secret method.
4
Thomas Wolfe Memorial
The spirits of the great author (Look Homeward, Angel), and his brother, roam the halls of this storied mansion. Thomas Wolfe even wrote about spirits before he died at age 37. Wait till you hear the full story!
5
Pritchard Park
This is where troops rallied before the "Battle of Asheville" in the Civil War. Southern ghosts still violently shove some people to the ground, and spectral drums are heard beating in the night.

We walked with Tad and he was absolutely amazing! Tad was very knowledgeable and fun. I loved that it was also a very interesting history lesson too. This tour was way better than we expected and I highly recommend this tour to all tourist!

Don't go. Would give 0 if I could. The tour guide Tad took more time talking about Ashville's Gay community and bashing as called it (straights) than telling good ghost stories. He insulted not only the heterosexuals' and insult Christians and the local population. Said the church's should go and mocked the Methodist. Called locals rednecks and made fun of them. Many in tour were not happy. I did not pay to hear his political views. We get enough of that shoved down our throats from the news and our government. Not worth and I recommend finding another venue my wife and wish we had.

This review is a vicious lie.
We record our tours, in-house, for quality assurance, and our guide did not say, nor would ever say, these things.
We donāt even know who you are.
Fortunately, everyone can read all of our great, authentic reviews to see the truth.
You obviously have malicious intent to impugn our business.

Tad was an exceptional guide! The sordid stories are interesting, but Tadās presentation of the history brings it to life for the listener. I have been on a lot of ghost walks in several cities and this was one of the best.
