This is where troops rallied before the "Battle of Asheville" in the Civil War. Southern ghosts still violently shove some people to the ground, and spectral drums are heard beating in the night.

Excellent tour! We learned a lot about Asheville history and enjoyed the spooky stories too :-) definitely would recommend.

I had Tad as a guide and he was fun and enjoyable to listen to. There was some history and fun ghost stories and a literal police shoot out around the corner (although, i don't think they can take credit for that one), but all in all it was an enjoyable evening and i would recommend.

My girlfriend and I have made a recent tradition of going for a long weekend in October to an old South city and taking a ghost tour. This one was definitely worth it. We love ghost tours but we also very much enjoy history and learning about the cities we visit so this tour was right up our alley. The guide did a fantastic job, it was pouring rain the entire time and he kept going along. Nobody left because we were all interested in learning more throughout the tour. I would recommend this to anyone who loves ghost tours or historical tours as you get both
