What To Expect
1
Pack Square
An Asheville mayor killed himself in the Jackson building. How may people have jumped from the top? And why is there a bulls-eye on the sidewalk below? Learn about the ghoul of the old jail, Thomas Wolfe's ghost, Helen's Bridge, and more!
2
Grove Arcade
Hear the controversial story of the murder of Helen Clevenger in the Battery Park Hotel, and why a blood-red haze is said to appear around her murder-room window on the anniversary of the tragedy.
3
Basilica of Saint Lawrence
This building's architect is entombed in the wall of this church, and his apparition is seen roaming in the night, gazing, in awe, at the world-class dome he constructed with a secret method.
4
Thomas Wolfe Memorial
The spirits of the great author (Look Homeward, Angel), and his brother, roam the halls of this storied mansion. Thomas Wolfe even wrote about spirits before he died at age 37. Wait till you hear the full story!
5
Pritchard Park
This is where troops rallied before the "Battle of Asheville" in the Civil War. Southern ghosts still violently shove some people to the ground, and spectral drums are heard beating in the night.

The tour was great! I had 2 sixteen year old girls with me who were captivated the entire time. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

What a fun and informative evening. Our guide was an excellent story teller and brought to life some amazing ghost stories. We loved walking the city in the evening and getting a historical perspective of the city. I highly recommend. Our teenage son even loved it!

I purchased my ticket in advance of my trip to Asheville because I like to take a ghost tour of each city I visit. I arrived at my hotel about the time the tour was meeting, so I was unable to make it. The tour operator called me as I was checking in to ask where I was. I explained that I had been delayed and not gotten to town in time to make it. I asked if he had a tour the following night that I could attend. ( i had seen they ran 7 days a week) He said,"IT"S NOW OR NEVER!" I asked, "Don't you have a tour tomorrow night?" and he said, "Yeah, but you can't use this ticket!" I wasn't planning to. I was going to purchase a new one... He was so rude that I said, "actually, I don't think I am interested any longer." and he yelled, "OKAY LADY!" and hung up on me. I was pretty flabbergasted by how ugly he was to me about it. I wouldn't bother giving this guy any of your money.

You were on speaker phone and all the guests who were there, on time, heard the exchange. It was not, at all, as you have said. Itā€™s too bad you got in late and missed the tour (and got angry), and that doesnā€™t justify you leaving a bad review for a tour you never took. The other 60 people who took a tour with us that night had a great time.
