The Basilica of St. Lawrence in one of Asheville’s most beautiful and beloved places of worship, but it is also home to a host of angry spirits… Learn about the tragic story of the architect who made it his life’s work to complete the Basilica and who continues his endeavors from beyond the grave.

Grove Arcade

As we stop by the historic Grove Arcade, one of Asheville’s most iconic landmarks. This grand building, with its ornate architecture and rich history, has been a central part of the city's life since it opened in 1929. But beneath its elegant exterior lies a story filled with mystery and intrigue.

Pritchard Park

Our next stop is the notorious Pritchard Park, the site of Asheville’s former post office. Here, a ghostly figure, a victim of a long-ago fire, is said to wander the grounds late into the night. The eerie presence of this spirit has become a chilling part of the park’s haunted reputation.

I had an amazing experience on the Asheville Ghost Tour, and it exceeded all expectations! Our guide, Kai, was incredibly engaging and brought the city’s haunted history to life with fascinating stories and eerie paranormal facts. The balance between spooky tales and historical insight was perfect, and Kai’s storytelling made every stop along the tour captivating. Kai was extremely knowledgeable and really engaging throughout the tour. She was really welcoming and was open to answer any questions you have. She is definitely refreshing and a really great tour guide. Would definitely do another tour with her again.
