Grove Arcade

As we stop by the historic Grove Arcade, one of Asheville’s most iconic landmarks. This grand building, with its ornate architecture and rich history, has been a central part of the city's life since it opened in 1929. But beneath its elegant exterior lies a story filled with mystery and intrigue.

Pritchard Park

Our next stop is the notorious Pritchard Park, the site of Asheville’s former post office. Here, a ghostly figure, a victim of a long-ago fire, is said to wander the grounds late into the night. The eerie presence of this spirit has become a chilling part of the park’s haunted reputation.

In town for the weekend to celebrate my hubby’s birthday. I love ghost tours and was so excited to find this. Imagine our disappointment standing in the cold and no one showed to guide the tour! Their site does mention if a minimum number of guest do not reserve it will be cancelled with a refund. We received no refund nor notification of cancellation. We did provide Both a cell number and email address. Save your money. There is another company that also offers this tour. I would suggest trying them. I have never, but they might at least show up...

Tour guide was obviously new. Was surprised she was only 18. I feel bad because her passion was there but the delivery was lacking and awkward overall. She talked about her script a lot too, which is a bit unprofessional. Overall, I appreciated her effort but I'm not sure why she was hired as a tour guide.

Was a really fun and chilling experience. Really enjoyed our “mistress of the night” Brandie, she was super sweet and friendly and did not hesitate to answer any questions we had. The nighttime and cold made it even more spooky.
