Overview

Foodies wanted! Come enjoy diverse plates in the heart of Downtown Houston at some of city's most famous restaurants. This tour will begin at the Historic Market Square Park (outside Niko Niko's) where you will learn about Houston's rich history, beautiful architecture, & diversity of cultures.

The tour consists of 3 stops where you will try 8-9 delicious food samplings including authentic Mexico City cuisine, traditional Asian novelties, Houston's unique take on Italian-American, & dessert. These meals are pre-ordered & will be coming out fresh for your whole group. Guests will also enjoy views of the tallest building in Texas & private limited access into largest downtown tunnel system in the USA! (1/3 of tour spent in tunnels) We hope to be eating with you soon!

What a great way to explore and learn about Houston. Plate selections were delicious and everyone was super filled. Tour guide had everyone intrigued and was able to interact with each one of us. Astroville Tours knows how to show off Houston.

I had such a pleasant evening at the Astroville food tour. Some extended family were visiting from CA and I thought I would treat them to a quick tour of the city. Relying on reviews posted on Trip Advisor, I settled on Astroville. I have no regrets. Vanessa was a terrific ambassador for the city and she made us all feel very welcome (including us locals). I even learned a few new things or two about the city (especially the tunnels) and I also got great feedback from my visiting family members who were very impressed. Of course, this was a food tour and we were expected to be fed as well. Again we were not disappointed—there was variety, good portions, good ambiance (and secure), and every dish (at least the ones we tried) was delicious. I got the idea of a food tour from colleagues at work and I try to do at least one tour whenever I visit a new city—it’s really one of the best ways to get to know a new place. Little did I know that one of the best food tours were right here in my own city. Of course, it helps when you have such a friendly and knowledgeable guide like Vanessa--she made accommodations for some members who had food restrictions and she even took some groups photos which we posted on our family page. She also offered some great restaurant recommendations (including some that I was not aware of). Needless to say, I strongly recommend Astroville tours.
