Tram Tours at the Space Center are subject to availability determined by NASA dependent on seasonal & staffing factors.

What To Expect

Downtown Tunnels

Visit multiple historical and artistic sections of Downtown Houston's tunnels as well as the corporate buildings that lie on top of them including the tallest building in Texas, the oldest bank in Houston, the original skyscraper in Texas, and the most award-winning building in the state. Following the conclusion of the tunnel tour portion, travelers will depart to the Space Center Houston. * Please note that on busy Holiday weeks, guests will be taken to the NASA Space Center first and do the Tunnel tour following their return from NASA. *

Space Center Houston

Travelers will have about 5 hours to explore and enjoy the NASA Space Center at their own freedom before being picked up at the Space Center's front entrance / drop-off point. There is a 15-minute pick-up window. The Space Center has a wonderful mix of interactive, family-friendly exhibits including the amazing Independence Plaza, International Space Station, Rocket Park, Life on Mars, Artemis and must-do Tram tours! * Please note that on busy Holiday weeks, guests will be taken to the NASA Space Center first and do the Tunnel tour following their return from NASA. *

The guide for the tunnel tour Diana was fantastic, very knowledgeable, very friendly. She was a great guide around the tunnels and was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. It was lovely to see some of the history of Houston and some of the beautiful architecture. Louis took us out through Houston to NASA and was also brilliant. Knowledge of all about the different parts of Houston and the sites to see. Both were really friendly and welcoming. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Astroville tours if these two are typical of those who will look after you. It was fantastic. I had been on the Tunnel tour before but had family visiting me from BC and thought this would a great way to see NASA and the downtown tunnel system both on 1 trip. Saves you the headache of having to book multiple tours and having to drive out there too. Critical info: NASA tickets nd' transportation are both included with this option so there is NO need to purchase tickets before hands

Cannot rate this tour highly enough. My host Vanessa was absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable about the tunnels and the downtown area of Houston. Because my group was very small (another group had cancelled I think), Vanessa suggested that we go to NASA first to beat the queues and then do the tunnels afterwards so this is what we did and it worked out perfectly. I saw some of the other feedback that the trams had sold out by the afternoon but I didn’t have this problem as we did NASA first. NASA is also a must see if you are in the Houston area. Overall fantastic trip highly highly recommend!
