I have lived in Atlanta for a long time and I was aware of the Beltline and the Krog Street Market, but I wasn't aware of the detailed history. I would have looked at the murals and thought "that's nice", but knowing something about the artist and the background of the mural makes it more interesting. There are hundreds of restaurants in the area, but which ones to choose? I would have never tasted the best fried green tomatoes in the world, if I had not gone on this tour.
