In 5 hours, you can only do so much - and for most of this trip, you are doing a ride-by of sights to go back and explore on your own. It begins at Peachtree Center Mall downtown, and the only real "hop-off" is for the Martin Luther King Center complex - which is amazing and informative, and really a must-see for the city. Other than the King complex (where you spend about 2 hours), and your lunch stop, you do a ride-by of many historic and notable places from the Margaret Mitchell House to the Governors Mansion and the Swan House from the Hunger Games, and hear a lot of very interesting information about them. The tour guide, Don, is extremely knowledgable and humorous. It is not a "hop on-hop off" tour that you would take in other cities around the US or in other countries, where you get off at stops that interest you and board the next bus in 15 minutes or an hour or so. This is an informative tour that brushes the surface of an amazing city, and makes you want to come back to the see the highlights in more detail.

For the price I was disappointed with this tour. Whenever I visit a new city I always do a tour to learn about it. This tour of Atlanta didn't give me any general history or interesting facts. It focused heavily on Martin Luther King and the majority of time was spend in and around the various MLK sites. The bus seating arrangements were not assigned so people were constantly changing seats with every stop. The tour itself just drove around, at a high rate of speed, while the tour guide was talking about various things of little interest. Trouble is, we had no idea what he was talking about because the bus moved so fast. The tour didn't really cover any of the history of Atlanta. It seems we just drove around various suburbs with the tour guide pointing out which hospital he was born at and which elementary school his sisters went to. The last hour was spent driving around the expensive suburbs. This would be a good tour if you want to learn a lot of MLK. Other than that, I cannot recommend it.

This was a great tour, had a great host,he was funny,he told jokes he played a mouth organ and even sang for us,.The driver Corey and Don made a great double act.
This tour is informative and Don really knows his stuff, for every question asked he was able to provide the answer.
The bus had big windows so everyone had a view, and it was clean.
I really learnt a lot on this tour and I would recommend it to anyone it also helps you to get your bearings of what is where in the city, great job chaps, keep up the good work.
