Are you ready to take a trip through downtown Atlantic City’s most haunted hotspots? The island site of the future settlement of Atlantic City was the Lenape's summer residence for many years before the city was constructed. While the exact date of the first permanent settlement of what would become Atlantic City is unknown, it is widely assumed that Jeremiah Leeds built and occupied an all-year residence on the island in 1783. However, it was not until 1850 that the notion of developing the area into a resort town developed, and the name "Atlantic City" was chosen in early 1853.

It was interesting to learn of the ghostly happenings of Atlantic City. The guide needs to use some sort of projection as it was difficult to hear when at the back of the group.

Neat tour. Our guide was very informative and knowledgeable. Toured a small area. All of the interesting history that had happened in the area!

I don't like horror or terror movies...... but these kind of tours are different..... is like a another point of view of the history....... anyways, it was more funny than scary. the tour guy was very comic..... lo recomiendo totalmente si quieren combinar miedo con risas......
