ATV Adventure in West Maui Mountains

Overview

This is an hour and a half ATV tour that takes you to the top of the valley to view the waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance and overlooking the island. Then you will go all the way down to the ocean and ride alongside the coastline. Spectacular views. You will meet in the parking lot and then follow your guide in your own vehicle to another part of the ranch up the gravel driveway to where the ATVs are located.

This was my second time doing ATV's in Hawaii, much less Oahu. I haven't been out there in a long time. This was def a fun activity to do, tough to get to though, they take you pretty far into the mountain from the parking spot. But the views are nice. I was a little sad that we couldn't go nuts on the ATV, but I'm sure it was for our own good. We went up and down some pretty gnarly and rocky spots. I was hoping for some water. They do bring you to two look out points. One at the top of a mountain that overlooks a cool valley (native) and an ocean lookout which is nice! Once thing to worry about is that your face is going to get super dirty, it's SUPER dusty there if it hasn't rained in a bit, so be prepared for that.. Other than that, it's a nice ride! Enjoy! Go in the morning too!

The staff was amazing! Helpful, kind, and just all over amazing. Mahalo Nui loa. Do not hesitate. Neither of us had done this kind of ride before. The views, the track... ide go again today if I could.

Highly recommended, we had a blast, so much fun on our honeymoon! Our 2 female tour guides were extremely helpful, patient and informative. They took the time to explain to everyone how to operate the ATVs, gave us heads up about some of the terrain we would encounter and how to properly maneuver though it, and gave us the opportunity to “let it rip”. There were 2 stops for beautiful scenic views. Be prepared to get very dusty/dirty (all in good fun). Pants were not necessary, but on hotter afternoons, the seats may get a little hot, so be careful without pants. Bring a change of cloths for afterwards! Having a 4-wheel vehicle will be very useful to get to the ranch, but we were able to get there without one. Say hi to Princess, their dog, for us. :-)
