ATV Adventure in West Maui Mountains

Overview

This is an hour and a half ATV tour that takes you to the top of the valley to view the waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance and overlooking the island. Then you will go all the way down to the ocean and ride alongside the coastline. Spectacular views. You will meet in the parking lot and then follow your guide in your own vehicle to another part of the ranch up the gravel driveway to where the ATVs are located.

Michelle and her team were very helpful. I learned that it was Michelle's grandmother's land and the trails were originated by her family. Pretty cool history! To be honest, I didn't have the strength to control the steering of the ATV, so I opted to become a passenger on one of their UTVs and a crew member drove. I tried!!! I would recommend for first time drivers or those that have poor upper body strength to handle a large ATV, go with the UTV. The team will let you trial the vehicles before they lead you to the mountains. The course was very bumpy, up hills, down hills, so you're going to need alot of strength to handle the ATVs . Unfortunately, they don't have a lot of UTVs available and if you are going solo like I did, they may ask you if you are comfortable with the ATV or if you would like to be a passenger. There is absolutely nothing wrong with being a passenger either. You'll get to take great videos and photos!

Very friendly staff, wonderful ATV ride and beautiful views! Drinks provided, helmet and goggles provided, easy to drive automatic ATVs - overall great experience! Just FYI - the red dirt on the trails will stain your light colored clothing, so wear some grubby clothes. We had a great time, highly recommend!
