ATV Adventure in West Maui Mountains

Overview

This is an hour and a half ATV tour that takes you to the top of the valley to view the waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance and overlooking the island. Then you will go all the way down to the ocean and ride alongside the coastline. Spectacular views. You will meet in the parking lot and then follow your guide in your own vehicle to another part of the ranch up the gravel driveway to where the ATVs are located.

The tour was awesome overall. We got some amazing views and some fresh passion fruit which was really good! Our guide Keanu was super friendly and knowledgeable about the area. The only reason I gave it a 4 star vs. 5 was that we booked a private tour and paid an additional 200 for it but there was only 1 other couple doing the ride at the same time as us and they got a private tour as a result.

I am so glad that you had a great rideGroups are usually around 8 ATV rides per group. There was actually your Private Ride of 2 and 6 other riders scheduled to go out on that ride. We received a call from the family of 4 that one of the children got hurt on another activity the day before so we did a courtesy reschedule to a future date. The Private Ride ensures that no matter how many riders there are, you will ALWAYS be in a small group with just you and your guide. There should have been 8 ATV riders total that morning had there not been an injury.

We got stuck in traffic on the way there. I didn’t nt read where it said to get there 15mins early because there’s a 15 min shuttle ride up. They graciously waited for us to get there and we had a great time ATV-ing. We got to taste fresh passion fruit off the tree and stop several times to take pictures. Our guide was super nice and the ride was super tame. Between 6-12 mph but lots of greenery and animals to see. They have a mini farm with goats, peacocks and horses too. Nice people around and the only place you can ATV on Maui. It was worth the drive to us.
