ATV Adventure in West Maui Mountains

Overview

This is an hour and a half ATV tour that takes you to the top of the valley to view the waterfalls (seasonal) from a distance and overlooking the island. Then you will go all the way down to the ocean and ride alongside the coastline. Spectacular views. You will meet in the parking lot and then follow your guide in your own vehicle to another part of the ranch up the gravel driveway to where the ATVs are located.

We have ATVs at home so can ride any time we want, and this was still a great adventure. They do allow some high speed riding, under controlled conditions, so that is fun, but the views are unbelievable. I recommend this for any families looking for something a little different.

This adventure is so worth doing. We started at the top of the mountain, rode down to the ocean, then back up again. There are a few stops along the way to enjoy the scenery and take photos and there are opportunities to let your adrenaline flow if you want to spend a bit of time going fast on the ATVs. Staff was wonderful. It is especially fun to enjoy the farm animals at the top of the mountain before and after the tour. There are horses, goats, chickens, peacocks, etc.

I reached out to Maui Mt Adventures via email when I was unable to book on-line (tour dates I wanted were sold out) Kirsten responded quickly and offered a private tour. We are so happy we went this route. Our guide, Keanu, was wonderful. He was patient and attentive as we built our confidence on the ATV's. The ride was so much fun and the views were amazing. Hands down this was one of the best activites we have done and we strongly recommend this company. Parking is about 1 mile from the staging area and a shuttle will pick you up from there. Toilet facilities are not at the parking lot, but are available at the staging area.
