This tour does involve a short amount of hiking, walking and swimming.

I was expecting this to be fun, but it far surpassed my expectations. First of all, I was surprised when the day started with a ride in their monster truck/limo. An unexpected thrill! Then the ATV tour itself... The ATVs were in good condition and very easy to operate. My friend who had never ridden an ATV before was able to pick it up very easily. We rode for about an hour in each direction, about 2 hours total. The landscape was absolutely stunning. I felt truly uplifted riding through all of the natural desert beauty. (I would advise bringing a bandana or mask to protect your mouth and nose from the dust.) Being the beginning of October, the weather was warm but very comfortable, especially with the wind once we got riding. It only got hot once we made it down to the river. Our guide, Brett, was remarkably friendly, patient, and helpful, and he was very accommodating of my mobility impairment. After the ATV tour, I was surprised once again to discover the shooting range was available. I'm very glad we opted in for that! Firing 50 caliber rounds from a Barrett sniper rifle was quite a thrill. The shooting instructors were also very friendly and accommodating. The included lunch was tasty--I hope you like burgers and fries. I cannot recommend this tour enough.

If you’re coming to Las Vegas, you need to do this tour. Vegas is so much more than the city lights. It’s outskirts are just breathtaking and Dain, our tour guide was amazing. He was super personable and since he is a Marine Veteran, it was easy to feel safe and comfortable with him in such unfamiliar terrain. He knows so much about the area and is an all around incredible person. If we come back to Vegas (or Arizona) we will be sure to use him again for the Grand Canyon tour which he mentioned was his favorite tour of all.

Brett was fantastic. He helped my mom who had no experience. She struggled at first but completely owned it coming back up. Because we did not do the Hoover Dam, I'm rating it 4 stars. Be warned: this trip does NOT include Hoover Dam. TripAdvisor needs to update it. Otherwise the views were fantastic. Do wish we stopped more to take pictures. As a first time rider, it's hard to focus on the front rider while taking in the scenery. Think it's because we went so fast going up hill to stay on time. Overall, had a great day, instructor, and group. We all had fun.
