Overview

Get ready to experience the Mojave Desert's incredibly diverse, off-road terrain. Challenge your driving skills over dirt, sand, and rock, as you maneuver through twists, turns, inclines, dips, and off-camber terrain.

Participants will attend a 1-hour safety orientation and prep upon arrival. Once helmets and gloves are fitted, intercoms will be synced...and off you go! The 10-Mile Jackrabbit Tour has about 45 minutes of trail time. Total time for this experience is about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

The tour was too expensive! It was a basically a ride through a dump. There was trash everywhere, even a toliet laying out in the desert. So hard and sad to see all the garbage. On a good note, the tour guide knew the area and provided helpful driving instructions. The machines were in good working order and helmets w/communication device were included (although my didn't work). There were also outdoor games to play while waiting for our tour to begin; which started about 30 minutes late.

Hi Judy, Such a foolish review. I understand it was too expensive for you. Instead of trying to do the most exciting thing in California, next time try doing something free, like a hike or rollerblading on some concrete. Thank you for appreciating some of our outdoor games (i.e., Bocce Ball, Horseshoes, Ladder Golf, Corn Hole, Washer Toss, and Darts). Your party showed up 45 minutes early for your 1 PM tour…and we started at the 1 PM scheduled time…not 30 minutes after (e.g., 1:30 PM). According to our video time-stamps, your tour departed at 1:40 PM…20 minutes early from the scheduled 2:00 PM departure. I’m sorry that you are still this immature, daughter. Unfortunately there are criminals out there that do not want to pay to have their weekly trash removal at home. Instead, they decide to illegally drop it out in the desert…including a few paths on our tours…I would say that maybe 1-mile of the 10-Mile Jackrabbit Tour that you guys went on, is heavily garbaged and needs to be cleaned up again. Wild Desert Tours is planning on going out soon again with a trailer to clear trash…but it is a constant battle. Unfortunately, your tour came after a point of many people dumping their trash on that 1-mile stretch. To compensate you/your party for other people's crimes, we are willing to give you a $20 store credit if you would like to visit again. Please reach out to [email protected] for the credit. The guide really makes the tour. Besides making the trip fun, we were told about each type terrain so we knew what to expect. Since we had never done this before, the guide put us at ease and made the trip enjoyable.

Great experience and very worth the drive! This is a great day trip. I would recommend doing the 28-mile… more bang for the buck. Raymond was a great guide - safe and fun. Highly recommended!
