Audubon Zoo
Visit the world-class Audubon Zoo in New Orleans to see rare and endangered animals in award-winning exhibits. Enjoy 50+ acres of innovative natural habitats and 1,700+ animals representing more than 350 species. See the African lion habitat featuring breathtakingly close views of 3 females and 1 male, and the outdoor Sumatran orangutan habitat featuring orangutan babies born at the zoo. Discover the famous Monkey Hill, featuring a 5-level treehouse. Be transported to Central America at the Jaguar Jungle, complete with an archeological dig, spider monkeys, ocelots, a jaguar, and the ā€œCriaturas de la Nocheā€ bat house. Check out the Louisiana Swamp Exhibit, the world’s only urban swamp, showcasing animals from South Louisiana like black bears, bobcats, foxes, and the white alligator. Interact with domestic species, such as sheep and goats, while learning about sustainable agricultural practices at Watoto Farm.

Good half day zoo if you go to all of the talks. Zoo on the smaller side. I went again only because of the Taylor Swift decorations reported in the press which was a nice touch.

Lots of exhibits and animals to see. Good activity on a sunny day. Great spot for families with young children. Half day is fine.

To see the animals both live and extinct the dinosaur display brilliant I enjoyed the layout of the zoo well signposted and very clean
