We booked the Aurora Ice Fishing. VERY fun time catching fish and then when the Aurora comes out, you can walk outside and enjoy the lights. Fish on all night in the cabin and the lights were on outside. We met lots of new friends in the cabin too. I loved being able to warm up in the cabin, then go out and film the Aurora. Riley was an awesome host/guide. I can't say enough nice things about him. He made sure we were always taken care of. That was my first time eating reindeer and it was pretty darn good. Riley cooked us up a fish too and I was able to give my husband a hard time because I out fished him. What could be better? Highly recommend the Aurora Ice Fishing... 5 hours went by so fast because we were all having such a good time!

Called Rod for a last minute Aurora Borealis Ice fishing adventure and he came through. He was very friendly and accommodating for us. Our guide Riley was pretty awesome. He knew what he was doing, kept us entertained, and seemed to really love his job. We caught dozens of fish without much effort. Riley cooked a few up for us and they were delicious. The cabin was warm and the hot chocolate was good. We had the time of our lives viewing the Northern Lights. This is a bucket list item we'll never forget. I would recommend Rod's to everyone.

The view of the Northern Lights from the fishing cabin is excellent--away from city lights and a wide open view of the sky. I'm glad you were able to check an item off your bucket list. Thank you for the review.

A few days before Christmas, Chuck took us out on a two hr snow mobile ride. We started at 10am. I have never seen such beauty. The sun was rising, all the colors in the sky and THE MOOSE! Everything was perfect. We LOVED every minute of it. We had never been snowmobiling but this was the hilight of our trip. Chuck was great and patient with eveyone. He gave me a pair of Mickey Mouse boots to wear to ensure my feet did not get cold. It worked! We came back that night and had the pleasure of meeting Bo. What a great guy! I think I kept him quite busy though as I caught at least 20 king salmon that night. Ice fishing was a blast and chef Bo made sure they were cooked to perfection. He also worked his magic and lit up the sky! The northern lights were a sight to see! Thank you Chuck, Bo and Rod for an experience we'll never forget.

Our combo trips of 2 hour snowmobiling and 4 hour ice fishing, day or night, is a great way to see and experience Alaska's wild side. You also save $75.00 when booking a combo. Thank you for the review
