This was a fun way to get some Austin history and food samples from various mostly local shops and restaurants. We had tacos, bbq, vegan ice cream (which was surprisingly delicious), fried shrimp and soup dumpling and gigantic cookie.

We met Angela, our guide, right on time. There were six of us and three from another family. From the start, Angela was very friendly and informative! Getting to know the others was fun also. We started out at a very cool BBQ place and it was really awesome! Come hungry because it's a lot of food, not just tiny samples. We visited five more places and every stop was really good and fun. I will not mention the other stops because this is a "Secret Food Tour" . Angela is also a comedian so she made our tour extra fun! If you are ever in Austin this tour is well worth your time!!

Everything was good, mostly local chains. Can't really call it secret and take us to Velvet Tacos. We enjoyed the company of the other people on the tour. Our guide was fine. Kinda expensive for what you get.
