Our family has done food tours all over the world, and we agree that this one was among the best! We used to live in Austin 15 years ago, and were excited to return to see how things changed. Denise was so positive and interested in sharing all of the things that have changed, and reasons/stories behind the stops and food choices. There was MORE than enough food provided that varied with respect to cultural influence and taste (sweet, savory, spicy, etc.). Very manageable walking distance. What was most remarkable was how Denise responded to an unexpected downpour. Not only did she run over to a store to buy umbrellas, but she also requested a ride share to get us to our next stop. This was above and beyond what we expected. We will be recommending Secret Food Tours to anyone visiting Austin.

A great way to explore downtown Austin, Texas for an outsider. Denise was excellent with just the right mix of interesting historical tidbits and allowing the different dishes to do the rest.

Denise led an excellent tour. The food choices represented the diversity of Austin and she provided information about the city that was both relevant and interesting. The pace of the tour was spot-on and she was extremely engaging. Highly recommend this tour!
