At this stop guests will hear about the former home of O. Henry. Please note that we do not enter this location.

Friends Bar

Guests will have the opportunity to purchase a drink at Friends Bar and will learn about the haunted history of Buffalo Billiards.

The Driskill

Guests will have the chance to purchase a drink at the Driskill Bar and learn about the haunted history of The Driskill Hotel.

Sherry was awful. She rambled on and on, seeming to forget key details of the "stories" she told. At the meeting point, which was right outside of a very crowded restaurant, she was gesturing so obliviously that she almost hit the patio diners in the head a few times. Then we went to a rooftop bar for some unknown reason, and Sherry continuously pushed drinks on all of the patrons. Read the other reviews for an apt description of just how stupid of a location this was. The only thing our guide was good at was drawing a one-sentence story into a 10-minute long rambling mess.

Our guide rambled quite a bit. I felt the only one of the stories really talked about ghosts. All the venues were too crowded to enjoy. Maybe Friday nights are not a good option for this tour of bars.

I would probably pass on this tour if you’re more interested in a bar crawl. We only stopped at three locations. The ghost stories weren’t really that great either. Trigger warning should have been included because the second ghost story was more a story of a serial rapist/killer who brutally raped and killed many young women including an 11 years old. All this told on the rooftop of the Westin which had nothing to do with ghosts or hauntings. Most of the “ghost experiences” were of the guide saying she felt cold air or a presence in various places which she didn’t take us to. I feel like it was a stretch to call this a haunted pub crawl. Not sure if Austin is really know for ghosts. Save it for New Orleans.
