Austin's Gem Bike Tour

Overview
Rest assured this adventure isn't just about beer. That's just the cherry on the top. We offer tons of fun quirky facts and stories on this adult sight-seeing adventure. Located on the east side of Austin's downtown, our highlights will include: The Treaty Oak, Hidden Austin Iconic Murals, Town Lake, and three uniquely different breweries. (Itinerary is incorrect because we could not add brewery addresses to timeline)

It is an moderate level bike ride. This ride does include a couple of hills, so be ready. But, fear not, there are three different breweries that will reward your riding efforts with cold brews. :) At the end of the tour, you will leave happy, refreshed, and educated.

Beers, bikes, helmets, and a knowledgeable guide are included in the price.

I like to bike and drink beer and have done bike tours in other cities and countries. This tour is a little light on sights, biking and information and definitely geared towards millennials. That said, Adam did a nice job with the tour. You will not go thirsty on this tour! There is plenty of good beer. I would recommend doing this tour as early as possible on your trip to Austin since they do give you ideas about what to do, see and eat. Again, definitely geared towards millenials and the biking is easy.

We appreciate your recommendation and we're glad you enjoyed yourself! We like to think our tours are geared toward a wide demographic and can be enjoyed by all walks of life, though we do enjoy a nice cold one, as you learned :) We hope to see you again for the chance to impress you with more local facts!

This tour is definitely a great way to start a trip in Austin! It takes to different breweries in different parts of Austin. Each brewery visited is unique from the next and offer little mementos to take along with you for souvenirs! Our tour guide Katie? was very nice and had a great knowledge of Austin with its history. It was really hot (expected) but biking gave us some wind time. Overall I am glad we found this tour and would recommend it to others!

Had a great time on the Beer and Bike Tour! Adam was a wealth of knowledge both about the beers we sampled and about the city of Austin. The combination of biking and trying different beers was a definitely a highlight on my trip to Austin. The most challenging part of the tour was the uphill climb, but as someone who hadn't ridden a bike in over a decade if wasn't actually that bad. So don't let that deter you from considering this fun tour. I would highly recommend this activity! And if you love beer there is more than enough to try and taste, you will have the opportunity to consume lots of beer, probably more than you could ever want. I would try and schedule your tour in the cooler parts of the year, but even during my 97 degree tour it was still a blast!
