Austin's Gem Bike Tour

Overview
Rest assured this adventure isn't just about beer. That's just the cherry on the top. We offer tons of fun quirky facts and stories on this adult sight-seeing adventure. Located on the east side of Austin's downtown, our highlights will include: The Treaty Oak, Hidden Austin Iconic Murals, Town Lake, and three uniquely different breweries. (Itinerary is incorrect because we could not add brewery addresses to timeline)

It is an moderate level bike ride. This ride does include a couple of hills, so be ready. But, fear not, there are three different breweries that will reward your riding efforts with cold brews. :) At the end of the tour, you will leave happy, refreshed, and educated.

Beers, bikes, helmets, and a knowledgeable guide are included in the price.

Awesome experience to explore local Austin breweries and get a little history of the city along the way. Whether you are visiting Austin or a current resident, if you looking for a fun activity I would definitely recommend this as an awesome option to drink, exercise, explore and learn about Austin and beer! Adam was such a fun and informative tour guide that had our whole group being friends and not wanting the excursion to end. Plus fun fact - you will burn as many calories as you drink!

We really enjoyed our tour with Bike and Brew ATX. Simply put, it's just fun. You bike around East Austin with a knowledgeable and chill tour guide and sample locally brewed beers. What to expect: You start at an awesome brewery where you get to know your guide and the plan for the tour over a beer. Then they get you situated on your bikes before starting the ride. Even as a fairly novice city biker, I had no trouble following the group and biking safely through the city. The longest rides are at the start of the tour, so as you enjoy more local craft brew, you don't have to bike as far. We booked the sunset 1/2 Heart of Austin tour for our first day there. We loved the evening views of the city and the ability to easily stay right around the area where we ended the tour to keep enjoying the nightlife. Doing the tour the first day of our trip also helped us get oriented to the city and ask our guide for suggestions for other activities and cool spots, which he was happy to provide. Bike with these folks and then use your new skill and knowledge from the tour to bike around Austin. Overall, highly recommend!

Visited Austin from the northeast along with three friends, and this was definitely one of our favorite parts of the trip. Great way to try some unique beers, learn about some Austin history and get a bit of a sweat going! The bike ride was pretty manageable, but you probably need to be in reasonably good shape if you really want to enjoy the experience.
