Overview

This Segway adventure will include historical and cultural information about Austin. All groups start off with an orientation followed by one segway rider training. It only takes a few minutes to feel comfortable controlling your Segway, yet we like for you to practice prior to the start of the tour. When all group members give the thumbs up, an experienced guide leads the group to the best spots in town. Choose from 3 departure times throughout the day, each one with a slightly different focus. No matter which one you choose, you'll see the best that Austin has to offer.

Carlos led a great tour. We were all totally new to Segways, but he trained us well quickly and helped us all feel confident. He told brief, entertaining stories at the stops and gave us lots of freedom to explore the stops. As an Austin resident, I thought his choice of stops was excellent and my non-Austinite visitors liked them all. He took great pics too. 7/7 would do again

I travel with a group of ladies every year. We always take a Segway tour in each city as they usually are informative and fun. The tour could have been good if our guide, Bri, was not in such a rush. She knew the information but she did not give us time to look at some things and take photos. We rarely stopped and would have liked to have had more photo ops. She never checked on the group and kept zipping far ahead of all of us. At one point one of us fell off the Segway and she was waaaay ahead and had to be screamed at to stop. Then 2 more crashed and fell. She never checked on those 2. After everyone was back up she did not even ask if we could make it back or if we needed medical attention etc. Others from our group assisted us and helped us get back to the office. 2 of us were really hurt and one could barely walk and all she cared about was getting her tips and signing up the next group. They are lucky we are not starting a law suit!!!
