I loved this tour so much. Anneliese was so friendly and knowledgeable and really took care of us. Her nuanced take on the cultural history (differences between generations of Cubans and Cuban-Americans), as well as the neighborhood history, is unmatched. You could tell that she really knew her stuff, cared deeply about the neighborhood, and was well respected by everyone there as well. Oh, and the food was some of the best stuff I've ever had! I'm still dreaming about that cheese and guava pastry! Anneliese even gave me some add'l recommendations since I was staying in Little Havana, and they were also soooo good! I highly recommend this to anyone who is staying in Little Havana or anyone who's in Miami but maybe wants a break from all the South Beach craziness.

Anneliese is one of the stars of this tour. The other stars are the people and places we visited on the tour. I was on a solo trip to Miami Beach and wanted to see and feel Little Havana. This tour delivered. I was with a very nice group of adults that seemed to appreciate every aspect of the tour as well. Tasted some great food and beverages and stopped by some truly historical and quite interesting restaurants and bars. We even got to see a foreign television show being filmed (from a distance of course). Anneliese is extremely knowledgeable, humble, friendly, informative and is clearly well liked by the community at large. Her humor and sincere interest that we all leave happy was well appreciated. We never felt rushed, and the pace was very comfortable. If you want to experience the real Little Havana, you will want to book this tour with Anneliese!

My husband and I were visiting Miami for the first time and we are so happy that we chose this activity. We expected a small group but it ended up just being us 2 which made for an even better day! This tour was very intimate and informative. Anneliese the tour-guide made us feel right at home and went above and beyond. We will never forget the half-day we spent in Little Havana! We will absolutely be back.
