Farouq was a wonderful guide! He took us to 6 great food spots to give us a well rounded taste of Cuban and Central American dishes. It was a ton of food but Farouq spaced out the eating so we could enjoy it all. He also told us all about the history of Calle Ocho and the people who live there.

This tour was great and highly recommended! Very relaxing also since it was just the three of us. Faruk Bishevac, the owner of Viator agency in Miami, took us to many local establishments on or around 8th street Ocho street. He started to introduce us to Cuban coffee and pastry at The Versaille, a local hot spot.
From there we went to Mi Rinconcito for lunch. pre ordered. From there to a GuantƔnamo Bay Historical small museum which was extremely interesting. Faruk is a history buff and could answer all our questions. We went back to Ocho Street and visited an other coffee shop for a different kind of coffee, GuantƔnamo Memorial Street, Fresh Sugarcane stop, Ocho Cafe with some of Frank Sinatra's furniture and we ended in a Chocolatery/art gallery.
Thank you again Faruk for this fabulous tour!

This is a small group tour offered by an owner run company. Our guide Farouq spends quite a bit of time prepping for this tour and finds off the beaten path historical spots to give the full picture of the Cuban community in Miami. This is much more than a cubano sandwich and cigar factory type of tour. The food however is plentiful and all from small family owned shops throughout little havana. If you are looking for an in-depth and intimate experience -- this is your tour !
