Farouk was very knowledgeable and a downright good person. We learned a lot, ate a ton of snacks and got to discover Calle Ocho and Little Havana. We were able to feel the sense of community and love for the neighborhood. There were some very intriguing history lessons and we enjoyed a nice stroll.
My favorite food item had to be the oven-fresh guava and cheese pastry or my first sip of cuban coffee. My favorite location to visit was probably a tie between the cigar rolling demonstration or the Cubaocho museum and stories that summed up the entire day. We would definitely go back to Little Havana and I highly recommend this tour. We even met a local artist!
I'm thankful that the guide was VERY accommodating with my husband's food allergies.
My only tip for the tour in general is that the meeting location be more clearly stated because we were a little unsure of where to go once we got to the address.
And my only tip for YOU is that you book this now, grab a pair of walking shoes and enjoy your day of exploration.
