My experience was very fulfilling and exciting. I really enjoy the history and culture of Cuba. These people have built themselves in the community and have establish businesses of their own to keep the people thriving and thatā€™s an amazing thing to do. The first restaurant that we went to, were ran by two young lady and I was very amazed at their work ethic and to be women of business thriving in such a beautiful city. I applauded them. Another experience that I was drawn to cigar location that we went to that was also being run by a young lady. Sheā€™s been making cigars in the last few years and her skills is amazing!

We booked the Authentic Little Havana Food and Culture Walking Tour for the last day of our Miami getaway, and we were not disappointed. Faruk was an amazing guide! Heā€™s lived all over, hailing from Macedonia originally, but has called Miami home for the past few years. It was just my husband and myself on the tour, so that was an added bonus. Come hungry because you will leave stuffed. The food was incredible, and we loved the easy pace of the tour. Every owner/staff at the restaurants and shops we stopped in greeted us with such kind hospitality, we didnā€™t feel like tourists and felt we could blend in. We saw another tour where the guide was wearing a headset and I had to laugh because thatā€™s no way to be guided around town. Faruk took the time to ask about our backgrounds and find out a bit about us before we headed out on the route, and it was so refreshing to just go with the flow. We enjoyed learning the history and the different cultures that influenced what we know today as Little Havana. We highly recommend this tour if youā€™re looking to get a glimpse of something other than South Beach. Thank you, Faruk!
