Annalise Morales took us ā€œinto the pastā€ as we walked the streets of Little Havana enlightening us with its interesting history plus she shared personal recollections of her years in the area. It was never too much information and she told it with enthusiasm and passion. Itā€™s definitely a colorful area with brightly painted murals on the buildings, unique shops and friendly local people. The food samples were nicely presented and ample as ā€œtastingsā€. All together it was filling. We hung out in the area after the tour to get a drink and share some more snacks that were so yummy. Thanks, Annalise, for showing us your ā€œneighborhoodā€. We now have some favorite places to check it when we return!

This tour was really good because the food samples were excellent (it was a lot of food), the history was very interesting, the neighborhood was really neat and the guide was fantastic. They wrapped a lot into this tour and I came away so happy we took the tour. I definitely want to return to Little Havana and visit some of the places where we stopped. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

As other reviewers have stated, our tour guide, Anneliese, was exceptional. A native to the area, she has lots of first-hand knowledge of the area, the people, and their history. This tour took me to places I likely would never have ventured into otherwise. The food was good, though not the highlight of the tour. It's an easy walking tour with frequent air-conditioned indoor stops. The streets are busy with foot and vehicle traffic, so be aware of your surroundings while on tour. We did intersect with a few other tour groups along the way, but Anneliese was good at separating our (much smaller) group so we could hear her and not get mixed up with other groups. Anneliese offers good suggestions on where to find specific drinks or dishes for your time after the tour as well. I went as a solo tourist and joined two other couples on the tour. Overall, a great experience. I would absolutely recommend!
