We had taken a tour with Faruk last year and told him the following year we wanted to tour Little Havanna. He said to call him and we did and were set up with Anneliese, who actually is his business partner in Little Havanna. She is the best and gave us a wonderful tour. Since she lives there she knows everyone, but the most important she has a real feal for the history past and current. We have been telling everyone what we learned from her. There were other tour groups around us at the same time, BUT we were the only ones that had seats and our food was promptly served. Our group was small (8) so we never felt like were being "herded" around. We were never rushed so could take time to learn about this interesting and prideful community.

Great half day tour of Little Havana. Definitely glad we booked thru Food Tours. Anneliese was our guide and she pointed out all points of interest. As she was local, she was able to give us insight in “the neighborhood”. Food was great (almost too much). Truly enjoy this walking tour.

Annalise (sp?) is an excellent guide. She's extremely knowledgeable about the area and is clearly passionate with regards to preserving the local cultures and architecture. Many locals greeted her personally along the way. Lots of food tastings, you will not go hungry, Mexican enchiladas, tacos, etc., Cuban sandwich, coffee and pastry, Argentinian pastry, and more. We visited a local produce stand where we enjoyed delicious freshly made before our eyes sugar cane juice. Visited Domino Park and a local club where we heard live music. Our 3 hr tour turned into 4 hrs as there were only 3 of us plus Annalise so we had a very personal experience. Thank you!
