What To Expect

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area

You will see one of the world's most awesome places, the gorgeous Red Rock Canyon Canyon with the folks that know it the best. As you cross the line from civilization to majestic mountains and gorgeous desert you will instantly feel more peaceful, relaxed and recharged. First you will be picked up from the Las Vegas strip in our brand new air-conditioned, super funky vans, and drive through the Red Rock Canyon Conservation Area, one of the most gorgeous places on earth. We will first stop at the welcome to Red Rock sign where our guides will tell you a story of millions of years of Vegas history beginning with the unique geology that makes up the Red Rock area, the Native Americans who lived on the lands for over 10,000 years, all the way up through modern times. Next stop will be Spring Mountain Ranch State park where you will spend the majority of the tour.

Spring Mountain Ranch State Park

Come along on a journey through time from the when the Native Americans lived on this land, then transformed to a camp for bandits, to a working cattle ranch and finally as a home to Hollywood stars, billionaires, and the richest man in the world Howard Hughes. This is perhaps the most historic home in Southern Nevada and is a stunning oasis filled with wild Burros, huge beautiful trees, grassy pastures, lakes and springs and a gorgeous old west home.

Blue Diamond

Welcome to Blue Diamond, a true old west mining town that dates back to the 1800’s. Built for workers of the Blue Diamond Mine, this super cute and quaint tiny town in the middle of the gorgeous Red Rock Canyon conservation area has everything you’d want in an old west mining town - cute homes including a historic home on the Old Spanish Pioneer Trail, it’s own general store, church, and wild Burro’s frequently walking through the town! Stop for a snack and break at a quaint restaurant with a chill patio where you can take in the tranquility and awesomeness of the surrounding giant mountains and desert scenes.

What a great experience we had exploring the Red Rock Canyon with Red Rock Discovery Tours. They were just tremendous, we are so glad we chose them over the other tour companies. Our Guide, Justin was so enthusiastic he really made it fun as he shared so much about the geology, the wildlife, the native american history, and so much more. This company, unlike any other van tour companies out there, only do Red Rock Canyon Tours. They specialize in what they do best and what they love the most and it really, really shows. Choose these guys for a great morning. This is one of the best tours I have ever been on.

What a great morning! Went in a tour with Red Rock Discovery Tours yesterday. It was so well done. The scenery was so amazing - gorgeous beyond all my expectations. I did it in July, when I expected it to be really hot. Actually though in the Red Rocks, which is at higher elevation, it was so nice up there. A slight breeze, not too hot, a d we had the park to ourselves...so quiet, peaceful, and majestic. The company was super good. Pickup right on time in a brand new, cool van. And the guide, Justin, was just so gracious, friendly, and then awesomely informative. One of the best tour guides I've ever had, and I travel quite a bit. Highly recommend these guys, you will not find a better tour company to show you the other side of Vegas, the natural and gorgeous side....

What a lucky find! When I travelled to Las Vegas I wanted to book some cool things to do and decided to get off the strip and check out the natural scenery. There were several companies to choose from in the Red Rock Canyon which looked beautiful. When I saw Red Rock Discovery Tours I chose it because they had great reviews, had the coolest looking, newest and best tour van, and was a brand new tour from the folks that do the #1 tour in Las Vegas, Red Rock Scooter Tours. Boy was I impressed. It is immediately so ez to see why these guys are the best operators in Las Vegas. They are just so good. From the moment they pick u up u see the guides are so incredibly friendly, funny, and professional. Then when u get to the Red Rocks u see that they are just so passionate, so knowledgeable, and so good and making us fall in love with the Red Rocks like they do. I will never look at Las Vegas the same way again, it is just so gorgeous. And I can say without a.doubt these guys at Red Rock Discovery Tours are the way to go. Book it with them, you'll be glad you did!
