Suitable for all physical fitness levels
Must be 5 years of age or older to be a passenger. Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid drivers license to operate.
It is required that there is 2 people on each craft (excluding the guide boat). One person must ride with the guide for groups with an odd number of participants
Weight Limit is 250lbs per person (2 persons per boat) with no exceptions. This is not our policy but the weight capacity for the vessel. No refunds will be given to those who show up for their tour not meeting the vessel weight requirements.

Paid stay-at-home policy for staff with symptoms

Guests are not required to wear face coverings for their activity, as the tour provides a semi-personal and semi-private experience using individual vessels that are adequately spaced away from each other.

We were looking for something different to do on our vacation to Marco Island. We discovered Backwater Adventures and the CraigCat tour. What a great experience. Conner, the owner and our guide for the tour was fantastic. After a brief tutorial, we set out on our exciting adventure. We had a blast. It fact my wife wants to buy one. I can’t say enough about Backwater Adventures. I would recommend them if you are looking to do something fun and different. You won’t be disappointed.

Backwater Adventure is a great company, who provided us with a wonderful morning on the water. We set off on an adventure with our grandkids (ages 14 and 11), and they loved the thrill and speed of the Craig Cat. Looking for shells was fun, and we were able to find some really neat shells to bring home with us. Great way to see part o the 10,000 islands and Florida backwaters. I would choose the Craig Cat tour over a jet ski any day! Thank you Backwater for taking good care of us!
