I would give 10 if it was an option! Joey was an amazing tour guide. He is a walking encyclopedia of Philly history. His passion and knowledge for history of the under-represented key figures of American history is incredible. Thank you! Amy

this tour was so good!! a lot of care and attention was paid to uplifting marginalized identities and voices, and telling the often untold stories that make up our cityā€™s rich history. i really appreciated joeys storytelling ability too, and all the great badass women and other folx he highlighted. definitely highly recommend, and i want to take another one of their tours soon!

What a wonderful way to explore the layered, radical and inspiring history of Philadelphia! Joey shared fascinating stories with humor, insight and the latest in historical research - connecting history to our shared present with context and clarity. I would love to take another tour with Beyond the Bells - highly recommend! This was a hit with locals and visitors alike.
