There were so many people without cars on the ferry over to Bainbridge Island who, as best I could tell, walk the cute little downtown and probably eat lunch/dinner and then head back. Why not really see the island and why people choose to live there? Eva offers that opportunity. She picked us up right at the ferry depot and took us around to a number of sites around the island that we would have never gotten to on our own, including the Bainbridge Island Exclusion Memorial (very powerful), a beautiful Dahlia field and introduced us to a new wooden friend, Pia. Eva was great, very personable and knowledgeable about the island where she lives. Would highly recommend to those without cars to see some of the real Bainbridge Island.
