Great night most beautiful scenery, sailing down thhe hudson a beautiful evening fine crowd the statue of liberty was majestice, thhe new york skyline from the water was memorable loved it

Booked this trip for myself & partner as wanted something special for my birthday celebrations for 14/09/18 costing around £360 for a window table . Boarded vessel around 630 pm to be greeted by Swann H (maitre d )shown to table offered water by our waiter which turned up promptly whilst deciding what to drink & meal orders . Waiter took our order then went off to see to other guests in his section ,got our 1st drink after asking a number of times 40 minutes later ............?? We were then offered bread & was told our starters would follow shortly ,we also ordered another drink at the time too . Waited again another 20 mins before it turned up ... Swann H came over & asked if everything was ok ? I then told him that everything was very slow still waiting for our starters & slow with renewing drinks etc ,he apologised offering a free drink on him of which we accepted . That drink turned up 15 mins later !!!! We noticed that the waiter seemed to have a lot of tables to wait & everybody seemed to be waiting a lot time for everything ,but we seemed to be having the most wait .....? Our starter turned up at around 830 pm after being on board for nearly 2 hours ! Our mains turned up at around 910pm just warm not hot & the waiter offered us another free drink due to the wait for everything ..... Starters & mains were just put on table & wasn’t asked who was eating what ........? By this time we really did have enough of this poor service & would of walked out if we could ??? To finish it all off our deserts turned up at 950 pm just as the vessel was coming into dock the band had finished & everyone that had finished their meals were waiting to leave ... We again noticed a few other tables were just getting their deserts too !!! There was a large table of ladies of around 12 nearby & noticed they had had the same bad service as us too & was not happy either!!!! By this time it was 10 pm & the vessel had docked & the other people who were sat in different areas got up to leave ,we only just started our desserts & drinks to finish ! We were given a drinks bill by the waiter for the drinks we’d ordered & the free ones we were offered were on there being charged too ???? I then got up & asked Swann H to come over as I wanted to complain about our bad service all night & didn’t think we should pay for any drinks because of this & would be emailing to complain & demand a total refund due to my birthday meal being ruined !!!! He agreed to waver the drinks & said he would investigate our complaints ,said we could stay to finish our deserts & drinks & maybe a coffee after that . I declined as we’d booked our transfer back to our hotel @ 1015pm so left leaving our half eaten deserts & drinks etc in disgust !!!! We noticed a number of other tables were now complaining about their service too including the large table of ladies who told me they were in same predicament as us now .. We will be complaining & demanding a full refund & warn others about this total waste of time & money spent & very bad experience not even getting chance to enjoy the band with a dance etc !!!!
