Beach Boys California Dreamin'

Hamners' Variety Theater hosts the newly re-imagined production at either 10am or 5pm depending on the day selected. Enjoy all of your favorite Beach Boys hits, including Help me Rhonda, Barbara Ann, I get Around, Surfin' U.S.A., and Wouldn't it Be Nice. You will also hear songs by other legendary artists from the same era including Simon and Garfunkle, The Carpenters, Peter, Paul and Mary, Joni Mitchell and The Mamas and the Papas. This musical trip down memory lane is enjoyed by both young and old. Beautiful vocal harmonies, energizing dance, comedy, colorful costumes and sets, gorgeous lighting and video, and historical narrative come together to make this an experience you won’t want to miss.

Surfin' safari to the max. California in the 60s. Even though there were 2 guys and 2 girls, they performed well. Brought back many memories.

What a great show. Walking down memory lane with these 4 talented singers. They weave a story that captures the 1960’s & more.

This was the second time (first time post-COVID) that I saw this show. I have been a true Beach Boys Freak for almost 50 years. This show was well done, and was not limited to the BB, but gave a good overview of the "California Sound" of the Sixties. If I understood him correctly, Stephen, the group's Leader, also arranged and produced the show. Great selection of songs, props, and wardrobe changes, and a rare treat to get to hear some lovely ladies adding to the wonderful BB harmonies. One of my favorite aspects of the show was a continuous slide show/film on the overhead screens showing pics of the group during their Heyday as well as adding fun facts and BB trivia. P.S. - This foursome also does a fantastic ABBA tribute in Branson.
