We ended up having a private tour with Mary and she made the tour and experience most enjoyable. She is a Memphis native and takes great pride in her city and Beale Street in particular. She took us all the way up and down Beale and shared wonderful stories of all the places and people that made the area so famous. I would recommend doing this tour without hesitation especially if you get Mary as your tour guide!

Our guide Charlie was very knowledgeable about the history of Beale Street and Memphis in general. He was very entertaining and we enjoyed the tour even though the temp was barely above freezing. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about the history of Beale Street.
