Beautiful Totem Bight State Park and Rainforest Walking Tour

Overview
Ketchikan Native Tours is a locally owned and operated Southeast Alaska land based sightseeing tour company that focuses on the rich traditional Native cultures of the Tongass National Rainforest. We believe in the small group experience and will only take a maximum of 11 passengers per tour. This experience and the rich information shared and narrated will only be provided by local members of our community. We will visit some of the most beautiful totem poles found on the island at Totem Bight State Park. You will also get a chance to stretch your legs on a moderate walk visiting one of our many walking trails.

Tour guide never showed up. He finally returned my phone call and said Viator never booked my tour. Viator is refunding my money but the real loss is the few hours I was in Ketchikan and not able to do a tour. Next time I'll use the cruise ship tours.

Thatā€™s a very unfair reflection of our company. Your tour was cancelled 30 days prior as we did not have availability when your tour was double booked at that time. We did utilize TripAdvisors cancellation system over 30 days prior and we cannot accept responsibility for their mistake. Yes we do apologize that you lost some precious time in Ketchikan but this reflection is not based on your experience with our company.

If you want to get back to nature, this is a wonderful trip and I would definitely recommend. The weather was lovely and so it was fantastic walking through the rainforest and the guide vocalising the history on such a sunny day. Bight park has lots of original totem poles and you receive all the history including their life span, very interesting. You can do a lot of walking, however I fell within the public community building hence for me it put a bit of a downer on it (hurt my leg and knee). This is something the whole family can do if you like being one with nature šŸ˜

April, thank you for the review but we do not recall any of our guest taking a spill on one of our tours. Iā€™m glad that it was nothing serious but please email me the details so we can provide a better service for our guest.

We had a little hiccup at beginning but quickly rectified with a private tour as we were the only ones.
