Celebrated a girlfriend's birthday last night. Have seen the pedal 'trolley' around town for a long time and glad we finally had the chance to experience it. We were 8 "locals", but had a full house with visitors.
The driver was fun making everyone else blend well. It was the "crew" that made the night a VERY fun experience. BUT right out of the 'barn' the 'trolley' was having mechanical issues. Seemed that half the pedal stations were not 'connected'. A few minutes into the trip we completely lost drive power, causing us to stop and the driver having to assess the situation.
The driver called 'someone' while a couple of us 'guys' tried to get the pedals to reengage. All of a sudden, with a bang, "power" was restored but still only with about half the pedals station contributing.
We went on to have a grand 'beer' tour with "just as crazy" new friends that "made the night". Unfortunately exhausting for a few that had to carry the working load. YES! We did rotate positions.
I "personally" wouldn't do this this as a daytime event, BUT it was exceptional cool of the EVENING fun.
READ the reviews so you know what could happen, especially with limited number of 'peddlers'.
Generally a THUMBS UP!
