As I watched a woman exit the water from her dive, fall on the sand and writhe under the weight of her tank that little voice said, Don't do it. Yet, I soldiered on even after waiting 45 minutes from the start time on the beach (presumably to ensure more attention would be given if the group was smaller). Within five minutes, I realized that I should have stayed on the beach. With salt water burning my eyes, the instructor told me I was breathing through my nose. OK, I stopped doing so and began taking rhythmic mouth breaths. This didn't help much because by the time we began going below my goggles were halfway off my head. How did this happen? I was told to relax on my back, float a bit. Dutifully, I did. After 60 seconds, I sat up to find I was alone-no instructor to be found. My eye had ceased burning; my goggles fit better so I figured I would dive and maybe find him. I did. But wait, my fin became unbuckled! All in all, the experience was interesting (about 30 minutes in the water, 10 of it getting used to equipment) and not one I would repeat with this company, The guide was perfectly kind but seemingly rushed. Maybe he was freaked out from the woman falling? (By the way, we found her fin in the water!) Would I scuba dive again? Yes, in a pool until I was certified.

This scuba diving experience was great for a first time. Our instructor Kyle was kind and patient and fun.

This was a lot of fun our instructor Max was super fun and made sure we had a good time I would highly recommend doing this.
