Overview

Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

This was my 14-year-old son's first whitewater rafting trip, and we couldn't have been happier. Mark was a terrific guide and had us ready to handle the first rapids, which come almost immediately. The water is very cold and you'll appreciate the wetsuit even on a hot day. Would definitely come back for another trip, maybe we'll do the Advanced one next time.

We had an absolutely wonderful time with our guide, Lindsey! She took care of us as we were very inexperienced. We felt safe the entire time with her. The company does a great job of pre-teaching what to do and safety! We even had to practice it with our own group! I would suggest this company to any group!!

We took the option of the beginner trip that made each of us feel comfortable rafting for the first time. The guides were down to earth and relatable, it was obvious that they are experts at what they are doing. We were a group of six with the youngest being 14, and we had so much fun. I'd recommend this company to anyone who even thought about going rafting in a heartbeat. Mason was a great guide!
