Overview

Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

Our Guide Chaz was great. We went with our 12 and 13 year old boys. the 13 year old as you can imagine was "very confident" with himself to put it mildly and kept saying he wanted to skip the beginner level and do the intermediate. Chaz gave our family a great experience and even my 13 year old stopped complaining and enjoyed himself. What more can I say!. Chaz even offered to babysit the kids (I made that up). Small operation that was very attentive to our family. We had 10 people with us

Our family of 6 had a great time. Water was cold but gear provided kept us warm. All the guides were fun. Excellent overview of what to expect was provided before we started. We really enjoyed our guide Philip. Other family had been out a few days before with Lindsey and had a blast too. Highly recommend it.
