Overview

Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

Tippy was a great guide and very knowledgeable about Clear Creek and the history of the area. The beginner's trip is just that, designed for beginners. We had our 8,10 and 12 year old boys with us. They were trepid at first but now cannot wait to go again. I would highly recommend if you have never gone before or are with younger kids. My wife and I have gone on more challenging waters but this was a perfect way to introduce the kids to white water rafting. We were fortunate to see all kinds of wildlife including Big Horn Sheep, all kinds of birds (hummingbird, King Fisher, gold Finch I think, and others). I was a little hesitant being so close to I-70 but it was not an issue or much of an impediment to the views. Again, we had an awesome trip and can't wait to get back!

Omg! What a great experience for beginners. The entire experience was amazing! Shoutout to Tippy, he was amazing on the water!

I rafted with Chaz and he was a fantastic guide. He kept the trip fun and safe and shared a lot of history of the Clear Creek area. Had a blast and would recommend this company and Chaz hands down.
