Overview

Middle Clear Creek is one of the greatest beginner rafting runs in the nation. With numerous rapids and historical significance, it is hard to deny the value. Although Clear Creek holds more rapids than most any other run in the US, the rapids of our Middle section are straight-forward and perfect for families with children or anyone else looking for something a bit easier. Rafters will also catch glimpses of Colorado's rich gold mining history and maybe even a miner or two as they splash down this unique stretch of whitewater.

We had Kurt as our guide. He was fun, engaging and full of historical info/stories. Even though the water level was low ( so not much splashing) he made the trip worthwhile, let us swim and ensured we got our moneys worth. I think this company as compared to others along the creek was more engaging, personable and fun. Highly recommend.

As my first time whitewater rafting, I had a few anxieties about rafting at first, but as soon as we were on the water I knew it was going to be a nice, relatively easy experience. Our guide Russell was awesome and made the trip simple and enjoyable. We were told our large group of 8 was likely to get stuck in the river a few times, particularly since we were doing the Beginner’s run. It turned out that we only got stuck once, and Russel was able to help us continue the trip pretty quickly. Very fun and actually relaxing! Feet can get a bit numb from the cold water (I wore sneakers and socks), but overall it was a great time. Our youngest participant was 10, she sat in the front and had a blast. Highly recommend this place :.)

They were great. Accommodated a group of 20 only 24 hours out. The guides were friendly and knowledgeable. Worked great with the kids in the group. Will definitely do it again.
