I highly recommend using Sonoma Valley Bike Tours for rentals in Sonoma. The bikes we rented were all in great shape (almost brand new), comfortable, and perfect for taking in a beautiful day in wine country. Jay and Lyn at the shop were extremely helpful and aided us in setting up a perfect itinerary for the day. Our group of 4 loved it and I will surely use them again.

Can't say enough good things about this tour and company. My wife had broken her arm two weeks before and we called ahead to see what our options were. They recommended the tandem bike but said to come by the day before to see if it would work. They didn't want us to have to pay the full price to cancel the day of if it didn't. As it turns out it work out fine with a little practice. Got there early to start and found out we were the only ones that day. Lynn, out tour guide, was friendly and outgoing and very knowledgable of the region and the history of the wineries we visited. Together my wife and I had no problem riding the 1-3 miles between wineries and Lynn set a conversational pace the whole ride. She was great at pointing out features of the town and countryside. The 3 wineries she selected that day were a perfect way to compare the different styles of the wines you'll see in Sonoma. From small homey operation to large, old tradition vineyards they were all great. Had great wine and Lynn introduced us to some passionate people to tell us about the wine we were tasting at the wineries. The lunch they provided was delicious and there was fresh water bottle provided by the support van after lunch. The van also took what wine we purchased back the the store for us to pick up afterwards. If you like to be out doors or love bikes, this is a great unique way to see the Sonoma countryside. And the wineries visited on the tour were top notch. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Sonoma.

My husband and I planned a trip to Napa for a few days and were looking for wine tours to book. I came across Napa Valley Bike Tours by looking at suggested activities on our B&B's website. After doing research, we decided to book a bike tour through their sister company in Sonoma Valley. We felt this was a great way to explore Sonoma since we were already doing a limo tour in Napa the following day. This bike tour and our guide were absolutely fantastic and we had so much fun although I was exhausted by the end of it. In total, we biked more than 17 miles to various wineries. The trails were mostly on small roads, so there was never a point where we feared for our safety (considering we were drinking the whole time, although not one person on our tour seemed drunk). I would highly recommend this tour.
