Very good tour. Especially liked the presentation from Blu Umi...delicious large portions. Popo cookies were better than what you make at home.. Can't wait to try my spices from Salty Wahini. Thanks, Shane...or fearless leader.

We had a great time visiting a number of food vendors in the Poipu area with Shane. A jam store, burger place, poke and acai bowls, bakery goods in a farmer's market and finally an upscale restauraunt. All used locally grown or caught ingredients as much as possible. It was a great overview of the food scene and understanding what was going on with Kauai both economically and food-wise. All the food was excellent, and Shane was a great host.

This tour was fantastic and brought me to a part of the island I probably wouldn't have visited on my own (Hanapepe) and even if I had, I wouldn't have discovered the hidden gems that were unveiled on this tour. The food was fantastic, the portions were generous, and it was great to get meet the business owners behind the businesses we visited and to hear about their experiences and passions.
