What To Expect
1
Mount Rainier
Mount Rainier is circled by the Wonderland Trail and is covered by several glaciers and snowfields totaling some 35 square miles. About 1.8 million people visit Mount Rainier National Park each year! Mt. Rainier in WA is America's 5th tallest mountain! The mountain top is covered by snow year-round. When the snow melts, water flows down in large volume, which then creates the most beautiful waterfalls!
2
Recycled spirits of iron, Sculpture
For many years, metal sculptor Dan Klennert has been creating works of rusting art that spring from junkyards, farm piles, and donations. He assembles overall sculptures from what he has on hand and how they come together in his mind, unlike looking for pieces to fit into a preconceived sculpture.

Christine Falls Viewpoint
Christine Falls (10 mins)
4
Paradise Loop
Paradise Visitor Center Paradise is famous for its glorious views and wildflower meadows. When James Longmire's daughter-in-law, Martha, first saw this site, she exclaimed, "Oh, what a paradise!" The park's main visitor center, the Henry M. Jackson Memorial Visitor Center, is located in the upper parking area. Paradise is also the primary winter-use area in the park, receiving on average 643 inches (53.6 feet/16.3 meters) of snow a year.
5
Narada Falls
At only 150 feet from the road to Paradise, Narada Falls is the largest waterfall accessible by car in the park, and one of the most impressive. Here the Paradise River plunges over the edge of a relatively recent flow of hard andesite lava that abuts much older rock.

The tour guide, Tina, was prompt and friendly. She illustrated none of the history of the sites we visited. I am still not sure of the reason for the “service fee” though a fee was highlighted it seemed more as if it was for tickets to attractions. It was never clear. She was an excellent driver. The trip was generally pleasant.

Look it's basically a cheap (relative to Ubers/renting a car) "drive you there, drive you back" service, esp. with the 10% student discount: exactly what I was looking for. Tina, the tour guide, was pretty laid back and didn't really push us around or guide us; if you want a tour guide to talk your ear off instead of just being able to break off and independently explore the paths, pick another service. This is more of a transportation service than a traditional guided tour. The only minor issue I had was I wish we got maybe one or two more hours; we got about 45 min each for the Falls and reflection lake, and then 2 for hiking up Rainier from the visitor station. That being said, the timing makes sense I guess to avoid traffic nightmare; when we left just after 3PM (the line at the toll booths was half a mile long then) and got back just before 5, theoretically beating a non COVID/non weekend rush hour.
