Our guide was very up beat. We thought we would see more of the historical sight of the city instead we saw restaurants and bars. We saw the capital but thought the LBJ library was going to be a stop and it wasn’t.

Thank you for sharing your experience - glad you enjoyed your guide! On the Best of Austin Tour, we always go inside the Texas State Capitol. We love the LBJ Library and encourage guests to visit on their own since is not included as one of the stops. You'll note that it's not listed in the online tour description. This tour is designed to give an overview of the city including a mix of information about local art, history, music, food, etc. Bummer to hear that it didn't really suit you. Feel free to reach out to us if you'd like to book a private tour that can be customized to your particular interests. -AUSTIN DETOURS

100% recommend Austin Detours. I had the pleasure of both a group (40+ folks) and a public (8 folks) tour. Marty was very knowledgeable, entertaining and most of all interested in connecting with every individual he was hosting. Detours recommendations for BBQ, tacos, food trucks, live music and shops was spot on. Many thanks for a job well done. Rob and Tami from Georgia.
